Export Amazon Reviews to CSV & Excel

Export the customer reviews of any Amazon product to CSV, Excel or JSON. Rating, title, full text, verified purchase, helpful votes and variant, in your browser.

Launching soon. Read the guides below to get ready.

Exporting Amazon reviews to CSV or Excel is how product teams turn a review page into research. The export pulls each review's rating, title, full text, date, verified-purchase status, helpful votes, reviewer name and the product variant, so you can mine feedback instead of reading it one star filter at a time.

What this platform is good for

Verified buyers and everyone else

Amazon marks whether a review comes from a confirmed purchase, and it attaches the variant the buyer received. Those two columns change what a rating means. A listing can hold a strong average while its verified buyers score it noticeably lower than the rest, which is the signal a sourcing decision actually turns on. The variant column does the other half of the work: on a listing selling six sizes, complaints are almost never spread evenly, and the average hides which one is generating the returns. Exported together, the two answer a question the product page never will, namely whether the good score belongs to the product you are about to order or to a different version of it.

Use cases

Why export Amazon reviews.

Amazon reviews are one of the richest sources of unfiltered product feedback anywhere. In a spreadsheet you can analyse a competitor product, mine reviews for missing features and recurring defects, and weight the signal by filtering to verified purchases.

Competitor product analysis

Export a rival listing and quantify what buyers praise and complain about, by rating.

Mine for features and defects

Search the text for the same request or fault repeating across hundreds of reviews.

Filter to verified purchases

Keep only verified-purchase reviews for a cleaner read on real product experience.

Built for sellers, product managers, and market researchers.

Insights

What the analysis reads on Amazon.

Amazon carries verified-purchase status, dates and the variant bought. The panel uses all three: it charts the rating over time, compares verified against unverified, and shows which variant pulls the listing down.

  • Verified versus unverified: whether the good scores come from real purchases.
  • Average per variant, so the weak size, colour or bundle is named.
  • Month-by-month trend, to catch a decline after a supplier change.

FAQ

Amazon export, answered.

Does the export mark verified purchases? +

Yes, as its own column. It is one of the two columns worth sorting on first: a listing whose verified buyers rate it noticeably lower than the rest is telling you something the headline average is hiding.

Which variant does each review refer to? +

The variant the buyer received, when Amazon shows it. On a listing selling several sizes or capacities, complaints are almost never spread evenly, and the variant column is what turns a vague average into a specific decision.

Are helpful votes included? +

Yes. Sorting by helpful votes is a fast way to find the reviews other buyers actually read, which is often a better guide to a listing's real reputation than the star distribution alone.

How do I export Amazon reviews to CSV? +

Install the ExportReviews extension, open a Amazon review page, click the icon, then click Export CSV. The file is built in your browser.

Where does my data go? +

Nowhere. Extraction happens in your browser and the export file is generated locally. The backend only tracks export credits, never review content.

Which formats are supported? +

CSV, Excel (XLSX), JSON. CSV uses a UTF-8 BOM so accents and emoji open correctly in Excel.

Is there a free tier? +

Yes. The first 25 exported rows are free, without an account. Credits bought afterwards do not expire and are shared across every ExportReviews exporter.
