Export Google Maps Reviews to CSV & Excel

Export the reviews of any Google Maps place to CSV, Excel or JSON, straight from your browser. Ratings, text, dates, owner replies and more, in one click.

Launching soon. Read the guides below to get ready.

Exporting Google Maps reviews to CSV gives local businesses and agencies the raw material behind a star rating. A Google Business Profile can hold hundreds of reviews with ratings, text, relative dates and owner replies; pulling them into a spreadsheet lets you analyse them per location instead of eyeballing the map.

What this platform is good for

One brand, judged one address at a time

A Google Business Profile is about a single address. For anyone running more than one, that is exactly the problem: the brand is judged as a whole while the experience is delivered per branch, and head office usually hears about a failing site from the site itself, late. Exported into one spreadsheet, every branch lines up and the ranking is rarely the one people expect. Google reviews carry a date and the owner's reply, so beyond the comparison you get a trend per location and a reply rate you can hold to a standard instead of guessing at it. The complaints that appear at one address and nowhere else are the actionable ones: a wait-time problem at a single branch is a staffing decision, the same complaint everywhere is a process decision. Nothing on the map page tells the two apart.

Use cases

Why export Google Maps reviews.

Google reviews influence both local search ranking and the decision to walk in or call. In a spreadsheet you can surface the complaints that repeat across locations, measure how much of your feedback gets an owner reply, and watch your rating trend rather than guessing it.

Local SEO and multi-location monitoring

Compare rating and review volume across every branch to see which locations need attention.

Find recurring complaints

Group review text to spot the issues that keep coming up: wait times, staff, stock, cleanliness.

Measure owner-reply coverage

Count how many reviews received a reply so you can hold response rates to a standard.

Built for local businesses, franchises and local-SEO agencies.

Insights

What the analysis reads on Google Maps.

A Google Business Profile carries ratings, dates, owner replies and reviewer locations. The panel turns that into a rating trend, the complaints that repeat across reviews, and a breakdown by location when you export several branches.

  • The complaints that come back, in the reviewers' own words rather than a summary.
  • Owner-reply coverage, so response rate stops being a guess.
  • Comparison across branches when you export more than one profile.

FAQ

Google Maps export, answered.

Can I export reviews from several locations at once? +

Not in a single run: you export one Business Profile at a time, because the extension reads the page you have open. Exporting each branch into its own file and combining them in a spreadsheet is the normal workflow, and it is what makes the per-location comparison possible.

Google shows relative dates like "2 months ago". What lands in the file? +

Both a normalised date and the original text. Relative dates are unsortable, so the export resolves them against the date of extraction and keeps the raw string beside it so you can always audit the conversion rather than trust it blindly.

Are owner replies included? +

Yes, as their own column. For a multi-location brand that column is usually the most actionable one in the file, because reply rate is a standard you can hold branches to, unlike the star average which they only partly control.

How do I export Google Maps reviews to CSV? +

Install the ExportReviews extension, open a Google Maps review page, click the icon, then click Export CSV. The file is built in your browser.

Where does my data go? +

Nowhere. Extraction happens in your browser and the export file is generated locally. The backend only tracks export credits, never review content.

Which formats are supported? +

CSV, Excel (XLSX), JSON. CSV uses a UTF-8 BOM so accents and emoji open correctly in Excel.

Is there a free tier? +

Yes. The first 25 exported rows are free, without an account. Credits bought afterwards do not expire and are shared across every ExportReviews exporter.
