Your extracted reviews never leave your device.

Last updated : 2026-08-02

The rule the whole design follows

ExportReviews is a set of browser extensions that export reviews from a page you have opened. The whole design follows one rule: the reviews you extract never leave your device. Extraction runs in your browser, in your own session, and the CSV, Excel or JSON file is generated locally by the extension and saved by your browser.

What never reaches our servers

Review content, reviewer names, ratings, dates, replies, and the addresses of the pages you export. None of it is transmitted to us. There is no server-side extraction on your behalf. While an extraction is running, the rows are held in the extension’s own local storage (IndexedDB) on your machine, and old sessions are cleared automatically.

What our backend does hold

  • Your email address, if you create an account. There is no password: signing in sends a six-digit one-time code to that address. The codes themselves are stored only as a one-way hash and expire quickly.
  • Your export credit balance and its history: how many rows you bought and how many you spent, with a timestamp and the platform name. Never what you exported.
  • Billing identifiers from Stripe (customer and subscription references). Payment is handled entirely by Stripe: we never see or store card numbers.
  • A device hash, used once so the 25 free rows can be granted without an account and cannot be claimed over and over. It is a hash, not an identifier we can reverse.

Anonymous breakage diagnostics

Review platforms change their pages, which occasionally breaks extraction. When that happens the extension sends a diagnostic event containing the platform name, the extraction method that failed, the type of failure, and a hash of the page address. It contains no review content, no readable address, and no account identifier. It exists so breakage gets noticed and fixed quickly, and it is the only automatic reporting in the product.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself from the Account screen of any ExportReviews extension. It is immediate and irreversible: the account, the credit balance, the ledger and the billing references are removed.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or erasure of the personal data we hold, which is the short list above. Write to the support address and we will answer.
